Identity System™: A system of our body composed of self-defeating thoughts, which adversely affects how we perceive the world, think, feel, and act.
Bridging: When you shift your awareness to a sight, a sound, or a sensation of your body, you put the engine of your Identity System on idle. When I started working with people to develop the necessary tools to rest the Identity System, I called the tools and the balanced physical, mental, and spiritual state they facilitate Bridging. Bridging allows your natural functioning (i.e., living freely, with a resting Identity System) to flow. Bridging is living your life at its best – in other words, natural living.
Mind-Body Mapping™: Three minute written exercises that expose how the Identity System works by painting a picture of its activity. Mapping is a powerful transformational tool.
The key to successfully transforming your entire life is integrating Bridging into your everyday activities. The first step is recognizing the telltale signs of excess worry and body tension when the Identity System is “on.” Bridging turns it “off” by allowing you to come to your senses. When you do, you bust stress and melt misery immediately. Whenever you become upset or stressed out, it’s due to an overactive Identity System (negative thoughts that define you or positive thoughts that confine you.)
